Hi, I’m glad you’ve found your way here! About ten years ago, I stumbled across some fused glass pieces in a gallery. I was instantly fascinated, and after watching a few videos I knew I had to give it a go myself. At the time, I had a pottery kiln sitting unused under my house (it couldn’t even be fired up down there), so I decided to sell it and buy a glass kiln instead. That decision opened up a whole new world for me, and I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve been teaching myself glass fusing. I love experimenting, trying new techniques, and seeing what happens in the kiln. Every project feels like a little adventure — sometimes it works out exactly as planned, and sometimes it takes me somewhere unexpected, which is half the fun.
I started my YouTube channel about five years ago because I thought I could offer something useful to people starting out, or even to those who’ve been fusing for a while and just want some fresh ideas. I try to keep my tutorials down-to-earth and relaxed, but also detailed enough that you really get the whole picture. Over the years, I’ve made more than 180 videos — from step-by-step projects, to tips on hand cutting cabochons for jewellery, to exploring different techniques you might want to try yourself.
This website is here mainly to support my channel and give you another way to connect with what I’m doing. Whether you’re just starting your glass fusing journey or you’ve already spent years at the kiln, I hope you’ll find something here that inspires you to try new things, experiment a little, and most of all — enjoy the process.
So grab some ideas, dive into a tutorial, and see where your glass takes you. I’m excited to have you along for the journey!
